BBC 'The Story of India' Major Series Graphics

Graphic sequences and title direction for major BBC / PBS history series.

The Story of India with Michael Wood is a six part history series made in HD for the BBC and PBS by Mayavision Int. I worked closely with the production team, Michael, the presenter and Gerry, the editor to produce in programme content alongside the shooting and editing process and also with producer Rebecca Dobbs on art direction of the title sequence at Envy post, London.
A mixture of archive footage and CG was used to reimagine the ancient city of Patna
This sequence was used to transition from an informal evening the presenter spent with locals to a mythical story on which the illustrated fresco is based.
An illustrated family tree of the Mughal dynasty.
A shadow play sequence telling the story of Raja Raja, a Tamil king.
